The Optimist was founded with a simple aim, to spread optimism with good coffee.

In December 2014, The Optimist Coffee was established and the first outlet is located at Ampang Park LRT station. A humble coffee kiosk with the aim to to serve Good Coffee with Good Vibes. We are glad that the public in the neighbourhood love what we doing and many have also reviewed us that we served the best coffee in the neighbourhood. Not to forget, lots of positive vibes too.

We are coffee enthusiast, a local indie coffee kiosk called “The Optimist Coffee”. We are definitely more than a coffee kiosk. Serving a good cuppa espresso coffee is not the only aim. Ultimately, we hope to inspire and motivate people with our coffee. We believe in coffee and of course we believe in positive thinking. To deliver our aim, each and every coffee cups came with a beautifully designed motivational quotes and that has become the trademark for Optimist Coffee.

We also often challenge ourselves in creating contents, designs, products, packaging to be different and creative. To stay creative is also in our brand DNA. Hence, we also launched our web store to feature our merchandise lines and collaboration with local artists and brands. We are also a brand that love to promote Malaysia to the world as we felt, Malaysia is really under value and have so much to offer to the world.

Fast forward, we are lucky to be able to still doing what we love and grow to multiple locations:
